One thing you might have wondered is why do you have to be a Facebook user to play Farmville. I’m sure there are a lot of different reasons, but there are two big, extremely obvious reasons why Zynga chose to build Farmville on Facebook instead of building it on Myspace or even just hosting the game on their own website. The reasons are that Facebook is huge (300 million users) and incredibly social. Those two reasons actually build off of each other to make Farmville the most played game in the world right now. If you’re looking for farmville cheats, you might be a bit disappointed to learn that cheating in a game like Farmville is not even close to the same as in a traditional video game. Since the game is very much based and stored on Zynga’s servers, it’s very hard to “cheat” per se.

If you do find some way to break the game to get tons of extra cash, you’re likely to get caught by Zynga. What happens to your game account is completely up to Zynga. They could ban you from Farmville, disable your game account, or even go so far as to keep you from playing any of Zynga’s games. Read more…
